In addition to these, in Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Khezu added the ability to generate its electric shield while tackling or leaping at prey, making it much more threatening. Their tail features a specialized orifice which bonds to the ground during electrical attacks and helps them cling onto cave ceilings.

Though I’m personally not a huge Monster Hunter fan, Stories looks like an interesting departure for the long running series, and I approve of the Wind Waker inspired art style. Khezu are Flying Wyverns introduced in Monster Hunter. The beast seems to be equipped with a sonic roar and looks to have an electrical lunge attack. This particular clip shows off your player riding the monstrous Khezu, which looks a bit like some sort of bipedal ice worm with winged limbs. You can even hatch eggs and build your own team of Monsties, giving you access to a different kind of gameplay than whats offered in the mainline series. Capcom has released a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories, slated to release in Japan on October 8th, 2016. Monster Hunter Stories 2 lets players battle it out with a wide selection of Monsters from the long-running series.
